When I saw this anhinga I wanted to created an image that had a graphic design element to it and to do so it was important to keep everything from the eye and bill to the feathers in the wing sharp. Therefore, I used an F-stop of f/11 rather than a more wide open F-stop as I normally do with wildlife.
